Laser hair removal packages: what six sessions actually cost
14 package prices from clinics that publish them, the discount each one really gives, and the five things a package has to state in writing before you pay for one.
Packages are how this is sold
Of the 30 published figures we captured across three markets on 29 October 2026, 14 were package prices. That is not an accident of sampling: a course of six to ten sessions is the correct way to buy this treatment, so clinics price it that way. The problem is that "a package" can mean almost anything, and the totals below show how wide that is.

The discount is not automatic
Three clinics, three different answers to "what do I get for paying upfront".
- Sei Bella, Little Rock: nothing. $100 per small-area treatment, $600 for six. $200 per medium, $1,200 for six. $400 per large, $2,400 for six. The package is the single price multiplied by six, so the only thing you are buying is the commitment.
- Wichita Laser Clinic: about 17 percent. Ten sessions plus two free, which appears on the price list as twelve sessions for $2,825 on the $282.50 Brazilian and underarm combination. You are paying for ten and getting twelve.
- Doctors MedSpa, Little Rock: 20 percent, conditionally. A package of five with a 20 percent discount, provided it is paid in full on or before the first appointment. Read the condition: the discount is for paying before you have had a single treatment, which is a different risk than paying as you go.
The range matters because it moves the five-year cost more than the headline price does. A clinic 20 percent cheaper per session that charges full price for touch-ups can end up dearer than the reverse.
What a package should include, in writing
- The area, named the way the clinic names it, not "small area".
- The number of sessions and the expiry date. Twelve months is common and short if sessions are six weeks apart and you miss two.
- Whether the balance transfers to another area, another person, or is refundable if you move or become pregnant.
- The touch-up price after the package ends. This is the number that decides the five-year cost and it is almost never on the price list.
- The device and the model. If the package price is higher than another clinic's, the device is the only defensible reason.
The break-even question, done properly
Take the per-session price and multiply it by the number of sessions you will realistically need, not the number in the package. A six-session package at $1,500 is $250 a session; if your area actually needs ten, you will buy four more at single-session prices and the effective rate climbs. Ask what the tenth session costs before you commit to six. That single question separates a package that fits from one that does not.
And if a clinic publishes a range instead of a list, as The Laser Lab does at $1,000 to $5,000 for six sessions, the range is not the price. The only number that counts is the one they write down for your area.
Why this page has no national average
Because packages are area-dependent and area naming is not standardised. A "$750 package" means underarms at one clinic and half legs at another. Averaging those together would produce a number that describes nothing. We publish what each clinic said, with a link, and let you compare like with like.
Questions people ask about packages
Is six sessions enough?
For underarms, bikini, upper lip or chin, six is a normal course. For legs, back and chest, eight to ten is more usual. A six-session package on a large area often ends with you buying more sessions at single-session prices, which is the most expensive way to buy. How many sessions you need.
What happens if I miss a session?
It depends on the expiry terms, which is why they matter. Sessions are spaced four to six weeks, so a twelve-month expiry leaves room for about four missed appointments before the balance is at risk. Ask whether the package can be paused.
Can I transfer a package if I move?
Some clinics allow it, some allow transfer to another person, some refund nothing. It is a one-line question and the answer tells you how the clinic treats money it has already taken.
Should I pay in full upfront?
Only if the discount is real and the terms are in writing. One clinic we checked gives 20 percent for paying before the first treatment; another gives nothing at all for the same commitment. Those are the two ends of the range we measured.
Package figures were published by each provider on its own website on 29 October 2026. Per-session equivalents are our arithmetic, clearly labelled. This is not medical advice.
