How we verify providers, and what we refuse to publish
Most directories in this niche publish scraped lists and invented ranges. This page is the standard we hold ourselves to, so you can check our work and hold us to it.
What is verified on every provider page
- The business exists, at the address listed, with that phone number.
- The rating and review count are what Google Maps shows on the date printed on the page.
- The website link goes to the provider's own site, not an aggregator.
What is being collected now, and why it is not published yet
Prices, for each body area, at each clinic, with the date collected. This is done by phone because clinic websites routinely publish either nothing or a teaser rate that excludes the consultation fee. A price appears on this site only when a person at the clinic confirmed it and the date is recorded next to it. We do not publish a range estimated from national averages, because a national average is wrong in every individual city.
What we will not publish
- A price we did not collect.
- A medical claim without a citation, or any clinical advice. We describe what the devices do and what the standard course of treatment is, and we send judgement calls to a licensed clinician.
- A state supervision summary until we have read the state board's own rule text.
- A ranking that a clinic paid for. Clinics can buy a listing, never a position.
Corrections
If a phone number, address or price is wrong, write to hello@lasernearme.com with the page and what is wrong. We correct within two business days and note the date of the change on the page.
Not medical advice
Laser hair removal is a medical procedure performed with a regulated device. Supervision and licensing requirements are set by state medical boards and vary. Nothing here substitutes for a consultation with a licensed clinician, and we do not diagnose or recommend treatment for any individual.
